At Grind Boxing Gym we offer two types of boxing workouts : contact and no contact (fitness boxing) training sessions. Contact training is designed for those who would like to participate in contact drills, sparring sessions and boxing competition. We offer technical classes where you will learn how to warm up, how to stretch, boxing stance & position, moving, offensive & defensive techniques. Workout includes jumping ropes, heavy bags, speed bags, double end bags, focus mitts and contact drills with a training partner. This program requires full registration membership with USA Boxing, Inc. For Olympic Style Boxing competition you have to obtain an Olympic Boxing License (Passbook).
At Grind Gym we also offer no contact boxing workout which we call - FIGHT4FIT - that utilizes boxing exercises like target mitts, speciality bags, boxing conditioning and strength exercises without actually getting hit.
This type of training is a great cardiovascular workout for everybody and it is a fun and challenging class.
Great for self-defense, weight loss, raising your confidence, relieving stress or just to try something fun and new while you learn real boxing techniques. This type of workout requires Fitness Boxing Membership with USA Boxing, Inc.
